The Foods That Comfort Us
I polled the Latitude28 band family today.
What has been your favorite comfort food over the past six weeks? I asked.
We’re a motley crew (one of the reasons I love this group), and I thought I might get some unusual answers.
A few gave a single response (“Do margaritas count?”) Some mentioned two or three items. One person said, “I mean, almost everything. . . .”
And this person (the tiniest of us all) wrote: “Hmmm. Maybe waffles. And avocados. Or plantain soup. Oreos and milk have been really comforting almost every night. Tea and crackers the other nights. Peanut butter sandwiches have been my friend during work. And after. And any other random time during the day. This is a really tough question!
